  What about her act makes her "insane"? Or are all women that deliberately kill their children "insane"? Or are all murderers "insane"?

  Well,one things for sure.Cutting the Limbs off your Child and leaving them to Die is not a sane act.

  I wish the WTBTS would give up this "No Blood Transfusion" rule.

  I agree.I think its just pure,unadulterated stubborness from Hq.Its such a basic cornerstone of the religion,the minute they abolished this rule i could see a House of cards!

  Sadly,they will never budge,imo.

  Angharad.

  Sorry for the language ,i can be a bit of a hot head when reading stuff like that.I have loved ones in the JW.They wouldnt hurt a Fly and the Blood issue would be very,very important to them both .I would honour theyre wishes (re blood)if it came to it ,no matter how much i disagreed.

  It is thoughtful and dignified comments like those that will do far more good making JW,s think twice about so called"apostate reasoning",than vitriolic hate which will just do lots of harm and undo lots of good ,genuine work.

  my advice to anyone that is thinking of leaving the "organization" is to make friends (real friends) with people other than jehovah's witnesses.

  the sad truth is that jws are only conditional "friends".

  they will drop you like a hot potato if they think you want to leave.

  You make a good point about the Friendship in the JW,s being conditional.When i stopped going about 18 months ago,i was dropped like a hot coal by most of my "Friends".But i realized that there were still afew who were good mates.They still are now...tho obviously they dont do so much with me now.it was useful (and gratifying)to have them as Friends as i made the transition to a normal life!

  Now i have plenty of Mates outside the religion and a wonderful "worldly" girlfriend.

  I can understand why you want to get away from the religion(esp after getting dipped at 12!)but do you have to d,a?Can you not just do the ol,fade away?The Da announcement will definitely be made(as is my understanding anyway).

  Don't either of you guys have people you care about who are JWs? I do, and so do lots of other people here. It's not cool to wish harm to come to people, even if they would do it to us. I sure wouldn't want anything bad to happen to any JW family members of mine.

  Im sorry,but i never heard that from any decent,normal Jw in all my time in the Religion.Any whacko Jw (i admit,there are some)who said that ,is a complete Moron and not worthy of anyones time.

  If you have heard that from one,then i apologize for the insult.I still think People demean themselves saying stuff like this...on both sides of the Religion.

  which celebrities would you vote for?.

  paul "royal suck-up" burrel and natalie "nice jugs but she'd get on my nerves" appleton would be first for the chop for me.
